# Local Skin File

To change your skin, you need to open HMCL-PE, click on the "Accounts" button and click on this "hanger" button on the right side of your created character.

On the right side, select "local File".

By clicking on the folder icon, you can find your skin file and apply it.

When you slide down the page, you will find the same, change cloak button.

It is worth noting that the skins of Local Skin File are theoretically invisible to others in multiplayer online,but can be [**adjusted**](/hmcl-pe-user-manual-en/accounts/costume-skin/multiplayer-game-display.md) to make it visible to others.
